Young passionate and ambitious musicien, Théo discover himself a huge passion for classical music with the French bassoon. Graduated from Caen’s Conservatory, he is accepted in Gilbert AUDIN’s class at Paris Conservatory at 17. Three years later he is laureate of the International competition of Muri (Switzerland) and the following year, he travels to Munich in Germany in order to study with Dag JENSEN.

Thanks to his musical qualities, Theo is invited to play with prestigious orchestras like National Orchestra of France, Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio France, Philharmonic Orchestra of Monte-Carlo and Dissonances Orchestra.

The most famous bassoon's solo have no longer secrets for him. The Rite of Spring, Ravel's Boléro or even Carmen of Bizet, Theo has a strong artistic basis which help him for his future projects.

Eager for innovation and perfection, Theo wants to expand the repertoire for bassoon. He began to travel in other repertoires and arranged great masterpieces such as J.-S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations for bassoon quartet.

Theo plays the French bassoon system and wants to promote this feature nationally and internationally. That's why he wants to develop his presence on the internet, also on social networks: Instagram, Youtube or Facebook.

Theo will participate next July at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland where he will have the opportunity to work with the musicians of the Metropolitan Orchestra of New York.

Theo is principal bassoon at Opéra National de Paris.
